Leila Loves Handmade is the brain child of Emily Gerson.

Emily says:

"I've always been creative mostly because I like keeping my hands busy.
I remember making Barbie clothes with my sister when we were little and I dreamt of becoming a fashion designer.

I started making the covered button accessories about 3 years ago for myself and friends but once I realised people really liked them I thought I'd give it a try and sell them. That's when I started selling at Auckland's Kraftbomb every month and the buttons have taken off since then.

The hardest part about the buttons is finding the right fabrics so about once a month I go to my favourite shop and look for new designs and patterns.

What I like the most about the buttons is their retro feel and how good they look on kids and adults alike."

All products are made with a lot of love, care and attention in a smoke free home.
