The concept behind the 'kea' lamps came when I was sent a postcard from Invercargil with a picture of a Kea bird on it. My design was inspired from a subtle reference to the pronounced curves of the kea’s beak. After some research on the Kea bird I was also inspired by it’s cleverness and adaptable nature.

Dimensions: Diameter 430mm height, 270mm diameter across.
Material: Untreated 4mm thick hoop pine plywood
