Katherine Quinn lives in Hawkes Bay. She is a staff member with the Visual Arts Dept of the Eastern Institute of Technology, where she studied as a student in the 1990s.

Katherine won a multi media award in the 2002 Molly Morpeth Canaday Awards and received a merit award for her work in the 1999 Norsewear Art Awards.

She has exhibited regularly over the last 8 years throughout NZ and has sold work here and overseas.

She includes Shaun Tan, Tim Burton and Raw Vision Magazine amoung her influences and artists she admires.
